Joshua Kneeshaw, PT

Clinic Director, Physical Therapist, Portland - Airport

Josh grew up in Colfax, Washington, and he first came to the Portland area to attend George Fox College where he ran cross country and track. He then transferred to The University of Montana to finish his degree in Exercise Science and attend physical therapy school. Josh has worked at the Airport clinic since 1998. He is experienced in working with all orthopedic injuries, and he has a particular interest in pre-and post-operative conditions, sports injuries, shoulder pathology, knee and lower leg injuries, and sacroiliac joint dysfunction. Josh’s treatment approach blends manual therapy techniques with rehabilitative exercise, and he works with each individual to design a specific program to help them recover from their injury. He believes that what one puts into rehabilitation is what one will get out of it. He strives to empower his patients to help treat themselves, and he educates his patients to help them prevent, or manage, future flare-ups.
Josh enjoys working with athletes of all ages, and he has served as a youth coach, umpire, and referee. He also provides on-field coverage for various athletic teams and events, and he consults with various teams regarding injury prevention and management.
In his free time, Josh enjoys spending time on the water (fly-fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking), cross-country skiing, and hanging out with his wife, Debra, and two children, Hannah and Ty.
